Symptoms

The Note 10 plus was one of the greatest phones of its time but the temperature warning logo has plagued many phones with little solution in sight. Here at Fixstop we have seen this problem occur after a screen replacement and sometimes after a hard drop or impact. Luckily we have found a couple of solutions that might just fix your problem before you even have to take it to a repair shop.

Is There a Temporary Fix?

1. Typically the temperature logo shows up when you are trying to charge the phone. If the phone is already on then try a simple reset and check if your phone charges normally after that.

2. If your phone is only displaying the temperature warning on a black screen then you can try to press firmly between the rear camera and the Samsung logo. Then try to plug in the phone to see if it will charge.

3. If the second step fixed your problem then most likely you have a loose connection with your NFC coil. Your phone might not actually be hot but there is a sensor that isn't making good contact so the phone thinks that it is hotter than it actually is.

How to Permanently Fix

If you were able to temporarily get your phone to charge or turn on then we recommend that you backup your phone or get any information that you might need urgently. Pressing the back of the phone to complete the connection won’t work for very long. There are local repair shops that can replace the NFC coil but typically we’ve noticed that the problem is most likely on the side of the logic board.
We strongly urge you to look for a local repair shop near you and make sure they do micro soldering as we do not recommend anyone to attempt this repair without prior experience, if you can’t find any near you, we offer nationwide mail-in-repairs with free shipping both ways, to get your order started simply click here
